不同的晶華Gallery Bar 不變的加州美尼斯好酒
4月17日的晚上,晶華酒店Gallery Bar和平常很不一樣。七點開始,工作人員陸續端出高檔水晶葡萄酒杯,小心翼翼地安置於每張桌台、早已鋪放好的酒杯桌墊上,有品酒經驗的朋友們大概不難猜到,這晚即將展開的活動,肯定與葡萄酒品飲脫離不了關係… On the eve of April 17th, there was something different happening at Gallery Bar of Regent Hotel. Serves carefully placed the beautiful wine glasses on the tablemats, and you could bet that there was a wine feast about to begin.
爵士樂開場 五款佳釀一次品嚐
不知是刻意安排還是純屬巧合,當賓客紛紛入座,一樓大廳的live Band也開始演唱大家所熟悉的西洋爵士音樂,彷彿序曲般,宣告今晚的活動正式開始…。在大家引頸期盼之下,當晚的主角,也就是連Robert Parker都為之驚豔的加州美尼斯葡萄酒(McManis Wines),由侍者一一為每位賓客添上…。 The live band in the lobby started to play while the guests started to arrive. After long anticipations, the servers brought out the star of the night – McManis Wines from California, a brand that impressed the most discerning wine critic, Robert Parker.
首先是細緻清爽的維歐涅白酒(Viognier)一掃大家辛苦工作一星期的疲憊;隨之而來的夏多內白酒(Chardonnay),風味十足、口感酸甜,呈現100%法國橡木桶所賦予的複雜度與夏布利特有的硝煙氣息;混和太妃糖香甜、多汁豐美的貝蒂席拉紅酒(Petite Sirah)擄獲在場所有女性朋友的芳心;而帶有濃郁煙燻橡木味的卡本內蘇維濃(Cabernet Sauvignon),則是連最挑剔的加州葡萄酒迷都直誇物超所值!風格率直、酒體渾厚的金芬黛紅酒(Zinfandel),則與當晚的巧克力馬卡龍演繹出最完美個協奏曲。
The first to be tasted was Viognier, a delicate and refreshing white wine that put a perfect ending to everyone’s hard working week. The luscious Chardonnay was next, with a hint of smoky oak. It was followed by the voluptuous Petite Sirah which was clearly a favorite of the female audiences. The Cabernet Sauvignon was the highlight of the night; its smoky oak flavor has everyone praising. The charming Zinfandel then capped the night off with a long finish.
美酒美食交融 歡欣談笑不斷
除了巧克力馬卡龍,晶華特別為這次品酒活動所搭配的小點還包含義式起司番茄、帕馬森火腿密瓜、蘑菇鴨肝慕斯、草莓羅勒塔等高檔Canapés,連礦泉水都採用好萊塢巨星名人們最愛的FIJI WATER!真可說是一場綜合所有Party元素的華麗品酒晚會!怪不得當天的貴賓直呼:「下次一定還要參加!」 Regent Hotel’s chef had cooked up an array of delicious finger foods including mini hamburger, Parma ham with melon, chocolate macaroon and strawberry tart. All the guests had a blast with the food and wine, and they would definitely be coming back for more!
